Privacy policy

AI do it is run by Jay. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@aidoit.co.uk.

Information collected when you request the guide

The guide form requires your email address. First name and business stage are optional. We use the details to log the request and provide the PDF. The information is stored in the AI do it Supabase database and is sent from the form to a server-side endpoint. The established guide system updates an existing guide record when you request another copy. The shared tool service records each source-attributed request separately once enabled.

The form has a separate, optional checkbox for occasional AI do it product updates and launch news. Leaving it unticked does not affect access to the PDF. If you opt in, we record that choice and the wording shown when you agreed. We do not treat a guide request as consent to marketing.

We do not ask for your business idea or sensitive details in this form. Please do not include confidential information.

Hosting and technical data

  • Website hosting. Vercel may record technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested to operate and secure the site.
  • Guide-request database. Supabase stores the form fields described above. The private database key is held in Vercel environment variables and is never sent to your browser.
  • PDF access. The PDF is not served from a public website folder. The server returns it after the form submission has been saved.

Retention and your rights

We keep guide-request records only as long as needed to manage the request and related follow-up. Marketing opt-in records are retained while that permission remains active. You can withdraw consent or ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@aidoit.co.uk.

Under UK data protection law you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We use Google Analytics only if you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie notice. It helps us understand which pages people use so we can improve the site. If you reject analytics, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. Your choice does not affect access to the guide. You can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

When enabled, Google may receive information about your device and how you use the site. See Google's privacy information and Google Analytics terms. The site stores your analytics choice in your browser so it can remember your decision.

Posts may link to other websites, including affiliate links, which will be labelled. Their own privacy and cookie policies apply after you leave this site.

Business tools and saved requests

Browser calculators, invoice fields and uploaded bank CSVs are processed on your device. The subscription audit does not upload transaction data. Budgets, checklist ticks and subscription records may be kept in your browser's local storage; you can remove them using your browser settings. Export a copy before clearing storage if you want to keep it.

When you choose to save a request by email, we store your address, the source tool, request date, optional marketing choice and the specific result you choose to save. Marketing remains optional. Connected tool forms ask you to confirm marketing consent by email before it is treated as active. The startup guide keeps using its established request system until the shared tool service is enabled. Do not include confidential information in saved request fields.

Email accounts use a sign-in link from Supabase. Account saves are associated with your authenticated user ID. Private plans and subscription records are retrieved only after sign-in. Subscription reminders use the account email and renewal details when the reminder service is connected. Sign-in is kept for the browser session; it may expire and require a new link.

AI, media and shared ideas

If you request idea generation, the supplied skills, interests, budget and time constraints go to OpenRouter and the selected model provider. Media rendering sends your script and chosen settings to the configured speech or video provider. Check the relevant provider terms and do not submit confidential data or material you lack permission to use. Provider keys remain on the server.

We retain model, token, usage and cost records to enforce limits and manage billing. Raw idea prompts are not stored in our database by default. If you create a share link, the idea output is accessible to anyone with that link for up to 30 days. Review it before sharing. Media jobs retain the submitted script while being processed and store finished files privately for limited-time signed downloads.

Tool events and abuse protection

When first-party tool analytics is enabled, we record a tool identifier, event type and time for uses, completions and email requests. Active affiliate redirects record the provider slug and time. These event records do not contain calculator values, uploaded files, email addresses or a persistent visitor ID. The browser honours Do Not Track for optional tool-event requests. No analytics cookie is used for these events. Google Analytics, if separately configured, continues to require the choice described above.

Server request protection uses a daily hash of the connection address with a private secret. Raw IP addresses are not saved in the application database for these limits. Hosting providers may retain technical access logs under their own policies. A signed, secure studio cookie gives an administrator temporary access to paid rendering and private reporting.

Our maintenance task is designed to remove expired shares, old media files and scripts after 30 days, ordinary unconfirmed email requests after 90 days, and tool events and rate-limit records after their stated operational period. These retention tasks must be active alongside the connected services. Confirmed marketing records remain until consent is withdrawn or retention is reviewed; account records remain until deletion is requested. Contact us to access, correct or delete a saved request or account.
